Established in 2019 by Inga Hebdon, Medea International was named after the character Medea in the Greek mythology. A cunning enchantress who helped Jason, leader of the Argonauts, obtain the Golden Fleece, a symbol of authority, success and kingship. symbol of authority, success and kingship. Whilst no sorceress, what Inga has in common with Medea is her passion to empower others to step out of their comfort zone so that they can win their version of the Golden Fleece.

Inga Hebdon

Managing Director

Inga Hebdon is an accomplished and passionate Pursuit Strategist and Coach with a demonstrable track record of strategic and operational leadership on multinational sales opportunities. She has over 15 years experience in business development and extensive expertise in developing win:win solutions.

Inga has worked with a variety of stakeholders and senior leaders from a wide range of cultural backgrounds and countries, coaching and advising them on strategy and approach around building a winning proposition in competitive global bid situations.  She has also assisted many teams in preparing and delivering pitches and presentations. Her workshops with guidance on personal impact result in significant quality improvements of the overall presentation, the development of on-point and compelling messages, increase the confidence of each participant and lay the foundation of an overall improved preparation process.

In addition to her work on bid strategy and pitch coaching, Inga is skilled in working with account teams on their overall sales plan and approach, resulting in a more strategic pursuit process including the implementation of a bid/no-bid decision process and increase the overall motivation of the team.

Throughout her life people enjoyed having Inga as a strategic sparring partner, whether in business or in her personal life, and she successfully mentored, coached, challenged and advised others so they achieved systemic improvements.

Strong interpersonal and analytical skills are complemented by a curious mind, the ability to listen, clear communication, an eye for detail and a passion to support others in achieving their goals. She is bi-lingual (German & English), has a proven reputation for helping others improve their performance and has enabled many senior leaders improve their impact and communication skills.  

Inga is a professional coach and a member of the ICF – International Coaching Federation, APMP certified, Prince2 accredited and a certified Agile Coach.

Inga’s previous positions include roles at global firms Gartner, Interxion, KPMG, Deloitte and Visa.

Helma Betts

Associate

Helma is an experienced one-to-one coach and facilitator. Her areas of expertise are team leadership, conflict resolution, change and burn-out prevention. She successfully coaches clients through challenging periods in their careers and helps them navigate work relationships and conflicts. She has worked with businesses, educational institutions and charities. 

Her background is in the IT sector where she worked for the market leading analyst firm Gartner in a highly multicultural setting. Currently she is a part-time lecturer for change management at the University of West London. 

Helma holds an MSc in Business Psychology, a Coaching and Mentoring Diploma and is a principal member of the Association of Business Psychologists (ABP).

Previous engagements include work with global firms BNP Paribas Bank, SciDev.Net and Maucher Jenkins plus with organisations such as Freeform Dynamics and PanMcMillan.
